Anal cancer Awareness.JPG

On this day, World Cancer Day, I'm humbled and extremely grateful for in July 2009 I was diagnosed with anal cancer than a week later I was told I had hodgkin's lymphoma.

Boy was I terrified especially with anal cancer because it was very little known exceptn we had just lost the amazing Farrah Fawcett and me along with others was devastated.

Everything happened so fast and I had the best care but there was still things I needed like emotional support and some spiritual advice would have been nice for most of the time all I could think of was dying. But I did'nt die I was fortunate to be caught at stage 1 with both cancers and I survived them both and today I'm 8years cancer-free and so very thankful for the wonderful care I received, and now to give back I'm a cancer advocate.
