HOW SON OF A WIDOW GOT TREATED FOR LYMPHOMA

Salman.jpg

On discharge after successful treatment of 10 years old son Master Salman his mother has this to say after losing my husband in the line of duty as police officer now that my only son has a cancer was too much for me. We were already facing financial, social and psychological problems. In this hopeless situation one of my relative told me about the Cancer Centre of Child Aid Association, NICH, Karachi, Pakistan where I could get treatment without financial burden. I immediately brought my child to the cancer center where he was registered and his treatment was started without wasting any time.

Looking after the house hold responsibilities and the same time attending the appointments of the Cancer Centre was a challenge for me but for the help from parents and brother through the difficult period. But most importantly the support I got from the staff of the Cancer Centre gave me strength and new hope to cope with this situation. They encourage me to be strong and hopeful. During treatment of my son all medication were provided free, along with multiple tests that were performed, were not charged.

Today my son is discharged after successful treatment and I am thankful to Allah and staff of Child Aid Association NICH Karachi, Pakistan for their humanitarian support when I was in distress.
