Since 2015, Project PINK BLUE has been hosting World Cancer Day activities in Nigeria. This year, we are hosting the largest WORLD CANCER DAY Walk in Africa. 

Our target is bring over 5,000 people to support the fight against cancer. We are hosting a 5km Walk, 10km Race, 20km Ride, 5km Skate, 50km Cycle, and Marathon against Cancer.
Date: Saturday 3rd February, 2024. Time: 7:00 AM Venue: Transcorp Hilton Abuja, 1 Aguiyi Ironsi St, Maitama, Abuja, FCT.

Activities streamlined for this event includes; aerobics, exhibitions, dance, games, good music and most importantly we would be creating awareness against cancer. 

Free Breast, Cervical & Prostate Cancer Screenings will also be available to everyone.

World Cancer Day 5km is an amazing opportunity to honour people we have lost to cancer, raise funds for people battling cancer today, and show your support for cancer awareness and a powerful way to fight and #chokecancer in Nigeria. 

While millions of people are surviving cancer in other parts of the world, in Nigeria, people only a few are surviving. We need your support. 

The screening sessions will screen for 5 different types of cancers; Oral, Prostate, Cervical, Colorectal and Breast Cancer to the people from 5 different islands. Approximately 250 to 300 people will be screened during the program.
