My daughter is suffering with an Endocrine tumor known and a VIPoma, this is exceptionally rare, and getting a diagnosis is extremely difficult due to the fact that these tumors are very small.
Our local hospital has little knowledge about this type of cancer, so through her determination, my daughter has made contact with a specialist in America who is now doing tests to establish this tumor and look into her treatment.
This is a very nasty hormonal cancer that reduces the body's prostate and magnesium levels that can send the heart to cardiac arrest, and other organs to shut down, so very scary for the person and family and regular stays in ICU.
Any help to support research into Endocrine cancer would be very welcome to help make is a more widely understood cancer.
It's a long road and we are only 2 years into it, but with sheer determination, we are fighting it together.
