I am a cancer doctor, wife, mother, and cancer patient, fighting two types of advanced cancers at the same time.
Eight months ago, my life took an unexpected turn. I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer and locally advanced liver cancer at the same time. After I had been in good health all my life, a positive person, I exercised regularly and was interested in a balanced diet, and I was practicing my work as a radiation oncologist until the day before I was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed, I never thought that I would be a cancer patient one day.
I have taken my diagnosis with these advanced cancers as a very strong test. Thanks to God, then my faith, my constant prayers, and the support of my family and friends, I knew that I would endure this journey and get out of this experience with gratitude. I chose hope and nothing but hope.
I accepted that turning point positively, so I decided to remain surrounded myself in the circle of hope and to share my message of holding onto hope and feeling gratitude and contentment with people who might need it.
