The word patient-centred has become a buzzword it is used so often, but what does it really mean in practice?

For World Cancer Day 2025, the VCCC Alliance is hosting a stellar line up of panellists including those who have experienced cancer - as a patient, carer or family member - with researchers, clinicians, educators and funders to explore what patient-centred means to them.

This webinar will be a panel discussion throughout - which will reflect on the inclusion of the patient-centred approach from the VCCC Alliance’s inception, how it has changed over time, and how effectively engaging with patient voices can inform cancer research, care, and equity of care into the future – and the integral role of education itself to increase understanding and awareness.
