Cancer Awareness Rally

On the occasion of World Cancer Day 2026, the Nepal Cancer Relief Society (NCRS) organized a large-scale public awareness rally in Kathmandu, emphasizing the importance of continuous awareness initiatives to reduce cancer risks and support patients. NCRS leaders highlighted the need for collective efforts to uplift patients’ morale and called for more effective government policies and improved support for economically disadvantaged cancer patients. The rally, joined by over 400 participants from schools, medical groups, social organizations, and NCRS branches, carried strong awareness messages and concluded at Bhrikutimandap after passing through major city areas. In addition, NCRS district branches across the country marked the day with various awareness programs under the global theme “United by Unique.”
