Cancer Awareness Sessions for Schools and Colleges

Cancer awareness sessions were organized by Department of Preventive Oncology incoherence with the National Health Mission of India for school health. The Main programmatic components include Health System Strengthening, Reproductive-Maternal- Neonatal-Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A), and Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases. The focus was on creating awareness for common cancers in schools and colleges of in and around Mumbai City. Awareness session on cervical cancer breast and oral cavity cancers along with harmful effects of using tobacco was organized.
