Inauguration of "Haven of Hope" at Southern Philippines Medical Center, Davao City, PHIL

Advocacy and awareness for better childhood cancer facilities in public hospitals is the key theme for "Haven of Hope", a collaborative project by House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer Inc., Cebu Landmasters and Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC). Haven for Hope creates a safe, child-friendly and healing environment for children and adolescents seeking urgent care at SPMC, the biggest Department of Health retained hospital in the country. It is a shared space at the Children and Newborn Institute Emergency Room Complex for pediatric hematology/oncology patients needing urgent blood component transfusions and outborn neonatal care patients.
