ONO Employee Charity Walk for Cancer Patients

ONO has delivered many life-changing medicines to cancer patients under its corporate philosophy of being "Dedicated to the Fight against Disease and Pain." However, cancer patients face numerous challenges that cannot be resolved by medicine alone. Driven by our commitment to be a company that also tackles these challenges, ONO supports the activities of cancer-related organizations.

In October and November 2024, the ONO Group held a charity walk activity that all employees could participate in to promote health and support people living with cancer, and over 60% of our employees participated. Participating employees walked with cancer patients in mind at their respective locations, and gathered at “Relay For Life” venues across Japan to walk together as one team thinking of cancer patients. Ultimately, we achieved our pre-set goals for the number of participants and steps taken, connecting the participants' intentions into tangible support for World Cancer Day.

In anticipation of World Cancer Day, we carried out a series of awareness activities for employees related to people battling cancer. We also created Zoom backgrounds to demonstrate our support for World Cancer Day and distributed them to all employees to express our commitment.

Going forward, ONO remains steadfast in its commitment to support and stand together with cancer patients through its activities.
