Patients, providers, policy: aligning for people-centred care
Details
Achieving people-centred care requires collaboration across perspectives to ensure that lived experience influences healthcare, systems and policies. This session will convene individuals with lived experience, healthcare providers, and policy influencers to explore what people-centred care means in practice and in policy. Together, participants will identify existing gaps and challenges, as well as concrete, actionable steps to strengthen alignment for people-centred care. By bridging experience, delivery, and policy, this session seeks to chart a path toward more responsive, inclusive, and effective health systems.
This session takes place during the World Cancer Leader's Summit 2025 in Melbourne, a private event organised by UICC and hosted by Cancer Council Victoria.
