Details

On February 2, 2026, the Hope Foundation for Cancer Care will celebrate its 25th founding anniversary, marking an important milestone in our journey of supporting people affected by cancer. During the World Cancer Day week (February 2- 4), Dr. Bruce Luo, Vice Chairman of the Hope Foundation, will join fellow cyclists to launch the “Riding with Hope - Taiwan Cycling Challenge”, inviting all sectors of society to show care and support for cancer patients through cycling, and to raise public awareness about cancer prevention and control.

Every pedal stroke represents the resilience and strength of those facing cancer. This ride from Taipei to Kaohsiung not only offers encouragement to patients but also to raise nationwide awareness and inspire collective action on cancer related issues. The ultimate goal is to enable cancer survivors to successfully reintegrate into society and resume a healthy life after completing their treatment.

Through World Cancer Day, the Hope Foundation for Cancer Care joins partners across sectors in advocating for a “Healthy Taiwan”, striving toward the vision of reducing cancer mortality by one-third by 2030.
