WWAP Survivors’ Village is a community-based cultural exhibition and awareness initiative designed to support the objectives of World Cancer Day by raising awareness, encouraging dialogue, and promoting community action around cancer.

Host / Organiser:
Warriors With A Purpose (WWAP), a community-focused organisation led by cancer survivor and advocate Renée Singh, who is actively engaged in cancer awareness, survivor advocacy, and community health initiatives.
Objectives of the Activity:
To raise awareness of cancer and its impact by sharing lived experiences and survivor stories
To promote early detection, breast cancer awareness, access to support, and dignity in care through community engagement
To provide an inclusive platform for cultural expression, storytelling, and community participation
To foster connection, understanding, and collective action through shared cultural and social experiences
The Survivors’ Village creates a safe, inclusive, and family-friendly environment that supports awareness, resilience, and solidarity, using culture and storytelling as tools to engage communities and amplify the voices of those affected by cancer.
