“Together We Care.” – Exhibition organized by DSF (Douleurs Sans Frontières) and IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Développement), hosted at F3 (Friends Futures Factory - Phnom Penh, Cambodia) between January 16th and February 16th

Douleurs Sans Frontières (DSF) is a French international NGO, recognized by WHO, whose mission is to promote, lead, and develop actions related to the prevention, diagnosis, and management of pain, mainly incurable diseases among vulnerable populations.

DSF has always believed that care is about so much more than medicine. It is about connection, about humanity, and sometimes, it is about finding light in unexpected places. That is what the exhibition hosted at F3 (Friends Futures Factory) is about—finding light, through art, even in the face of illness.

The photographs you will see between January 16th and February 16th, captured by the talented Miguel Jeronimo, tell powerful stories. They show moments of joy, tenderness, and resilience—moments where patients forget, just for a little while, the pain or the fear they might be feeling. These moments happen because of care: the care of a family member, a doctor, a volunteer, or a friend.

You will also admire the incredible work of the art students from the Royal University of Fine Arts. Their paintings are full of color, hope, and life. They reflect the strength and courage of our patients, especially the women who are bravely facing cancer.

We hope this exhibition inspires everyone who sees it to take better care of themselves and their loved ones.

  • To visit a doctor if something does not feel right.
  • To get screened and vaccinated for cancer, when possible.
  • To talk openly about illness, breaking down the taboos and fears that keep so many people silent.

Because talking about illness helps us fight it together. And when we act together, we create a culture where no one feels alone or ashamed because of their health challenges. Together, we’re proving that care is something we build as a community. And together, we’re making a real difference.
