True story

All existence and phenomena in this world is changing constantly and do not remain the same for even a single moment. I keep calm and go with the flow.

When I was 14 years old.(2014). I was diagnosed with cancer AML. How life treat me is karma , how I reacts is mine.  I was emotionally strong enough to fight . I was sad because it was shown in many movies  that it is dangerous. I found from google that life span is from 5 to 7 years.  Doctor told me that leukemia is a result of an abnormal increase in blood cells.

I was not afraid, god is with me. I am very fortunate and proud to be Bhutanese.  I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty the king, His holiness, government, doctors, health staff, family and friends. 

I was referred to Kolkata and began a whirlwind of treatment for 7 months.  I did try everything to subdue my pain .( I tried drugs and alcohol for year . But it's was just adding my pain and worsting my health condition).  I did test and learned lesson that it is harmful . It cause bleeding , weakness, joint pain and breathing problem. In life we are given a test and lean lesson.  so please 🙏 don't try drugs and alcohol since it doesn’t help to reduce pain emotionally. I tell through my experience.

My oncologist, nurses and staff at Kolkata ( TATA medical center) were just warm and carrying. I am very thankful to them. I did stop thinking about where I'd be 10 or 15 years from now. I am pretty sure that there is chance of relapse.  I think about today, living in the moment, and what I hope to accomplish right now. I am fit and strong enough now. It’s 2024 and I’m still living, and I can do everything.  Cancer is just a word so we can defeat cancer.

" Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. 
“Author of individuals life is God and only God knows the ending " so don’t worry.  can be a victim of cancer or a survivor of cancer.
