"I have lost people I loved deeply, and that grief will stay with me forever. Watching them slowly weaken, seeing how cancer changed their bodies and stole parts of who they were, is something I will never forget.

That loss lives on in me. Even the smallest pain now brings fear, a quiet question — “Is this cancer?” I seek reassurance, unsure whether this fear is something to overcome or a way of protecting myself.

What I know for certain is this: cancer didn’t just take lives — it changed mine forever."
