What was your experience of the healthcare system?
When my mother was released from the hospital the first time in November she was told that our home health would be there to help her care for her PICC line and they would also be able to draw blood for testing. Little did we know that this wouldn’t be how it would turn out
What is your message of hope or words of advice?
Never give up. Voice your dreams and hopes. My mother had a dream of fighting this disease just being able to live again is all she wanted. Be aware of your health insurance carriers. This is why my mom never got the help she so needed.
