I lost my brother to lung cancer October 2024. From the time he was “officiallly” diagnosed to his passing was only a month. He went from a vibrant, healthy weight individual to a scarily thin, very weak man in excruciating pain in just 4 weeks. It was devastating, and we, his family felt helpless as we watched him deteriorate. Complicating the situation was that he was living overseas. We looked into bringing him to Canada, but it was going to cost the astronomical amount of $50,000.
Cancer is prevalent in our family. It has robbed us of more than one family member over the years. I wish this disease on no one, and the effects it has on a family is beyond comprehension. Please donate if you can.
