I've been battling stage 4 colon cancer since early 2023. Not gonna lie, that first year was tough! There were so many new things I had to get used to - different types of treatments, temporary fixes, then lots of surgeries, and now ongoing treatment. I am still here, still battling, still going through it. Every day I am happy to wake up and have challenges to face. The rest of life doesn't stop, and that is what has kept me going. It truly takes a community of support and I am lucky to have an incredible family. The hair may be shorter, the body may look different, but the heart is still beating beneath it all!
