“The Eternal Spark of Hope”

Before the shadows touched her, my cousin  sister was a living portrait of joy. She moved through the world with a light that needed no warning and no signs-she was simply, beautifully happy.

But life shifted in a heartbeat. The diagnosis was late-stage malignancy, and in a single moment, her world was turned upside down. For three years, she didn't just survive; she fought. Her weapons were not just medicine or surgeries but her spirit and an unyielding hope. Even as she carried her own heavy burden, she reached out to lift her parents, giving them the very strength she was using to stay standing. She taught us that a fighting spirit is not just about the outcome, but about the grace you show while in the battle.

When a doctor's words finally shook her foundation, and the time we had left began to grow short, her courage didn't vanish-it transformed. We realized that while hope can't always change the ending, it changes everything about the journey.

She is no longer with us in person, but she is never truly gone. Her life taught us the most profound lesson: even when time is fetal and the end is near, hope and fierce spirit allow us to live each day fully.

She was just 26 years the only light in her parents’ eyes, and a sister whose bond with us was unbreakable.
She fought. She loved. She remains eternal.
A beautiful sister and brave daughter.
