(My Cancer Story)
History of ITP ideopathic thrombocytopenia.and hypertrophied prostate.since2000, thus keeping watch on my platelets. Getting tested frequently.
2010 Urine-routine report showed micro-haematuria few RBC and ultrasound abdomen confirmed a bladder tumour. Contrast Eñhanced CT done but contrast omnapaque caused severe thrombocytopenia and TURBT got delayed and high dose steroids started for ITP. 
Post TURBT wasn't eligible for standard intravesical BCG chemotherapy.
Next cystoscopy...showed 4small tumours... paniked us to shift treatment to Tata Memorial hospital mumbai.
They continued ongoing intravesical Doxorubacin till 6cycles.
In nov 2013 my tongue lesion due to a sharp tooth was found to be malignancy Squamous cell carcinoma SCC. GOT wide excision tongue done at TATA HOSPITAL MUMBAI...and got cured.....with no follow up required.
Regular quarterly & 6month cystoscopies continued till 25thApril 2022, when suspicious lesion biopsy found positive for malignancy.
6th may 2022 TURBT done, intravesical mitomycin same evening given. 
i was Offered BCG, but I refused due to ITP and bcg side effects. Opted for Intravesical GEMDOCE Gemcetabine and docetexel. 6 weekly induction cycles followed by 24monthly doses completed in august 2024 with no side effects.
Iam enjoying best quality of life and performing my professional duties even on the chemo day.
No side effects on my platelets was noticed aswell.
