Jannette, United States
It started with me feeling tired a lot and feeling nauseous. I knew something was wrong because it wasn’t normal for me to feel nauseous all the time like I was.I got my diagnosis from an oncologist. I was scared. Yes my concerns, background and personal situation was taken into account
The biggest challenges in my experience with cancer was emotionally and financially
What helped me most was when I found out that there is organizations who help. What supported my mental, emotional and physical well being was sharing my story. And taking medication
My experience with the healthcare system was good
My message of hope is to see a doctor if you feel something is wrong. Don’t be afraid to share your story and experiences with cancer because you never know who it might help.
