Cancer turned my world upside down nearly 2 years ago, with a diagnosis of advanced prostate cancer, having gone into my lymph nodes, pelvis and two of my vertebrae. Treatable but not curable.

My PSA count was 835, the norm being 1-5. So after hormone treatment and chemotherapy, I've managed to get it down to 0.15. I could never have got through this without a strong woman by my side, selling both our houses to buy a family home, so I wasn't on my own and last October, getting married. 

So this World Cancer Day, 4th Feb, I'll be thinking about everyone who's world has been turned upside down. Hang on in here, it will get better
