Cancer puts our life paused, makes us turn our attention to self-care and healing in all dimensions (physical, mental, spiritual, emotional). Everything is in perspective, the way we see life changes, when we are confronted with the possibility of finitude.
Cancer gave me strength and courage that I didn't know I had, it forced me to take care of myself and stop to look inside and reflect on what really matters.
Cancer brought beautiful projects to my life, inspiration to create together with Andreia the Onco Empatia and beautiful people, who stay forever.
People who unfortunately left, but were always an example and who make me want to live for me and for them.
Cancer is a word with a heavy connotation, but it is not a sentence, and we have to talk about it, as a form of prevention and awareness and as a way of dealing with it.
Cancer does not define us, we are much more than the disease. It leaves marks and scars, that we can look at them and remember our overcoming.
