An Mary Nafula, a breast cancer survivor and the founder of Warriors of Hope, a support organization dedicated to cancer advocacy and awareness. Diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2019, i underwent a right radical mastectomy and chemotherapy, an experience that fueled her passion for empowering others.

As a Know Your Lemons global certified educator and an A Fresh Chapter Elevate Fellow, I educate communities on early detection, holistic cancer care, and oncosexology—addressing sexual health concerns for cancer patients and survivors. I engage diverse audiences, including youth, through impactful sessions that foster inclusivity and awareness.

My efforts earned me the Cancer Advocate Champion of the Year Award (2022) under the MUHURI ADN Protect Women Human Rights Defenders program.Icontinue to inspire hope, encourage proactive healthcare, and advocate for improved cancer management globally
