How did it start?
In an annual screening!
What was the biggest challenge(s) in your experience with cancer?
It was definitely the emotional burden of thinking I might have to leave my children and the physical changes from chemotherapy.
What helped you most?
What undoubtedly helped me was my desire to move forward, to get closer to God, and my greatest motivation: my husband and children.
What was your experience of the healthcare system?
It went incredibly well for me because I have health insurance.
They were always attentive to me; I felt listened to and well taken care of.
What is your message of hope or words of advice?
That there is light at the end of the tunnel, that everything passes. I wasn't involved in public services because in my country healthcare and medicine are very deficient. It's very sad to see how many people die.
