The Voices of People Centred Care

Back in the early 2000s, it was my deepest dream to change the ways in which breast cancer was discussed in the public domain.

In those early days, I had the honour of being not only a Caribbean-based practitioner of Post-Surgical Care, but a distinctive voice for the recalibration and reimagining of such a delicate subject that affects so many. I saw it as an opportunity to create, curate, strengthen, package and disseminate relevant information which was more socially aligned for the Caribbean and Global South.

Taking this message to the wider communities meant the conversation would be easier to get started and explored in diverse settings and sectors.

Though innovation in educational methods, it has been a delight to create a number of relevant dialogues in which, care stands at the core.

Today, we have a solid repertoire and supply of educational programs, which includes well designed content, material and curricular for various audiences and settings. These programs have been shared on five continents, in our many travels and through collaborative relationships across multiple sectors and industries.

And, to these many channels of connectivity and communication that have helped lift our advocacy and empowerment methods to elevate impact and reach wider communities, I remain eternally grateful.

Connect with us to explore partnership and collaborative opportunities for learning exchange.
