A Journey of patient’s daughter ❤️🩹
At 38, I am a healthcare professional now deeply rooted in mental health and psychooncology. My commitment to patient-centered care was born from a personal experience: my mother’s battle with cancer. Growing up in Georgia,🇬🇪 I watched her struggle, and when she fell ill, I felt compelled to learn everything I could about healthcare.. [2001]
In 2005, I participated in an internship in Turkey to observe how integrated care systems operated, particularly in psycho-oncology. This experience profoundly impacted my perspective on treating patients holistically—addressing both their physical and emotional needs.
With knowledge, I’ve been PhD student.. that time already - in 2018, co founded a psychology society to break the stigma around mental health and cancer. We are member of https://www.ipos-society.org - International PsychoOncology Society since 2020.. doing better and better
As president, I worked tirelessly to create a welcoming space for patients to share their experiences and seek support. Together with dedicated professionals, we organized workshops and counseling sessions, empowering others to speak openly about their struggles.
Looking ahead to February 2025, I eagerly anticipate a significant workshop where patients and specialists will come together to explore therapeutic techniques. Our aim is to foster a community of understanding and compassion, demonstrating that no one has to face illness alone.
Reflecting on my journey, I see how my mother’s battle has fueled my mission to create a supportive healthcare environment. With each step forward, we pave the way for brighter futures, ensuring that every voice is heard and respected in the journey of healing.
