[0:00-0:20] The Spark Samuel: "Hi, I’m Samuel. My journey into Psycho-Oncology began with a question. Years ago, watching a close family friend fight cancer, and seeing my teacher, Ms. Kanchan Daniel, survive it, I asked myself: Who supports the mind when the body is fighting?"

[0:20-0:50] The Foundation (NK Dhabar) Samuel: "I found my answer during my internship at the NK Dhabar Cancer Foundation. It was there, as a Health Coach, that I truly stepped into the field. I wasn't just observing; I was working on the ground—supporting patients during chemotherapy at BND Onco Cancer Centre and conducting group well-being sessions at Gadge Maharaj Dharamshala. Walking between those two worlds—the clinic and the community shelter—taught me that healing requires us to meet people exactly where they are."

[0:50-1:10] The Expansion (St. John's & Research) Samuel: "To deepen that understanding, I expanded my training to Palliative Care at St. John's Medical College, learning to support patients through life's most difficult transitions. I also realized that care needs to be accessible, which led me to research Virtual Psycho-Oncology Services—ensuring that support reaches patients no matter where they are."

[1:10-End] The Current Mission (Tata Memorial) Samuel: "Now, I’m two days into my observership at Tata Memorial Hospital. Walking these hallways, seeing the volume of patients and the depth of their needs, the mission feels more urgent than ever. I am here to bridge the gap between medical treatment and emotional resilience. Because no one should have to walk this path alone."
