This was me during cancer. When I first heard the words you have cancer, it was like an out of body experience. I heard nothing else the Dr was saying after that. Cancer came to take what it thought it could take from me. I lost my hair, my body, & my happiness for a while. I never lost my faith! I can say I beat cancer! People think once you’re done with active treatment it’s over. You still live with the little voice in your head that will sneak up & be like what if! You still have constant appointments & you have to learn to love your new body.  I stand with all the survivors & the ones that didn’t make it to the survivor side. We need more funding for cancer treatments & better healthcare for cancer patients.
