Life has a way of leading us to unexpected places. I was a childhood educator, a mother of three, and a proud wife when I found myself on a journey I never thought I’d be on—I got diagnosed with breast cancer. During this challenge, I searched for a space where I could regain my balance, reconnect with myself, and embrace a healthier, more peaceful way of living. My love for plants started as a hobby and grew into something bigger. That’s how Lily’s Garden, my plant business, came to life.
My business became more than just a place to grow plants—it became a source of strength and renewal. With every seed I planted, I found energy, clarity, and peace. It was a reminder that even in times of change, growth is always possible. Nature helped me redesign my life with more positivity, less stress, and a deeper sense of purpose.
As I nurtured my garden, I also nurtured myself. I delved into learning about my cancer, emotional well-being, and overall health, which led me to become a well-being practitioner.
On World Cancer Day, I share my story as a reminder that healing is about more than just physical health—it’s about finding balance, joy, and strength in the journey. Through Lily’s Garden, I hope to inspire others to embrace new ways of growth, nurture their well-being, and rise strong, no matter where life takes them.
