World Cancer Day 2026

Welcome back to World Cancer Day 2026!

The Farah Saeed Team is excited to announce that we are partaking in World Cancer Days’ theme ‘United by Unique.’

From sharing cancer patient stories to this year’s focus on how cancer patients’ stories will ‘change minds. This will help people of all walks of life to understand and empathise with cancer patients as they partake in their cancer journey.

We focused this year on building their confidence and creativity by introducing three projects to meet all differentiation needs, where they can think, solve, and create all forms of puzzles and artwork. This helps them to face different challenges on their cancer journey and replace fear with confidence, calmness, and bravery.

United by Unique Puzzle Book – this features wordsearches and crosswords related to World Cancer Day’s theme.

04 02 Colouring book – Named after World Cancer Day’s annual event day, it consists of four drawings where cancer patients can colour, and is coupled with poetry as a soothing measure.

Ihsas Arabic Calligraphy – Dr Farah Saeed is an Iraqi Arab inspiration who passed away from cancer, and we wanted to focus on the art of Arabic calligraphy and the different emotions that cancer patients may undergo. It is also a chance for people of other cultures to learn a few emotive words from another culture that can be expressed amongst patients, family, and friends.
