I work at a cancer hospital as a play therapist where we work with children in inpatient, chemotherapy, and surgical oncology areas. We use distraction activities to reduce stress and to improve their mental wellbeing.

On a more personal level, losing my parents to cancer brought indescribable pain and helping kids with cancer, motivating them to go on, gives me courage; their resilience helps me heal through the pain of seeing loved ones battle this menacing disease.
